OPEN: Tues-Fri 9:30-16:00

The Harbour Centre Storehouse has been created to provide low cost food and provision for those who need a little extra help. Through the continued donations of individuals and local businesses, we are able to keep the shelves of The Storehouse stocked for those who rely on us to put food on the table.

“I don’t know where I would be without the Harbour, I know you value me as a person and I am not judged”

“You will never know the difference you have made to my life, you listen to me and let me share my concerns”

How to sign up to the Storehouse Community grocery store

As you come into the Harbour Centre, talk to one of the receptionists who will take some basic details from you and issue you with a temporary membership card.  A year's membership costs £5 and a basic shop costs £5. The receptionist will give you a welcome sheet giving you more details. If you will struggle to pay for the year's membership or a basic shop, please do talk to one of the receptionists.

Your £5 shop enables you to purchase 12 different items from the shelves on your right as you go into the store, the fruit and vegetables and the bread section near the tills. Be reassured that you go away with more than 12 items, for instance, 3 bananas equate to 1 item. You can purchase products from the fridges, the freezers and the shelves on your left as you come into the store at a reduced price than you would usually buy from a supermarket.
